New Hope has been abuzz for months about the possible sale of the Raven inn/restaurant/bar complex to The Monster club on New York City’s Sheridan Square.
Rumors intensified this week, but a person close to the situation who asked not to be identified said that while “anything is possible, nothing is final.”
They went on to say that it’s “not The Monster.”
While additional information remains scant, it does appear that a deal may indeed be in the works at the Raven, a New Hope hospitality and entertainment landmark since 1979. The betting is that regardless of whom may ultimately purchase the popular spot, its reputation for friendliness, fun, food and outrageous entertainment will continue.
