In case you haven’t stopped by in a while, New Hope’s PNC branch at 2 N. Main St. has done away with its big imposing counter, and now employs an experimental open interior design with consumer-accessible digital banking stations and roving “consultants.”

The new “universal branch” sports a new manager, as well, so you may want to check it out, or at least see what a bank looks like without a huge barrier between customers and bank staff.
