New Hope artist Jay Eisenberg will showcase his unique vision in a solo exhibition October 4- 13 at New Hope Arts Center.

Past Present and Future – A Retrospective Exhibition features more than 40 works of art from throughout Eisenberg’s career.

The native New Yorker studied at Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia, and earned his master’s degree at the State University of New York at New Paltz. Later his independent study in Amsterdam refined his appreciation of old master techniques evident in his attention to detail in portraits and objects.

Eisenberg will host daily gallery hours during the course of the exhibition Oct. 5-13 from 1-5 p.m. daily.

“My work as a painter varies using every medium — pencil, charcoal, pastel, watercolor, gouache, egg tempera, acrylic and oil paint,” said Eisenberg. “Its imagery is grounded in realism. For me it is the process of orchestrating abstraction to create a representational illusion of reality,” he added.

New Hope Arts Center is located at 2 Stockton Ave., second floor; (215) 862-9606.
