New Hope Police Department
March 22, 2014 – At 11:08 a.m., a New Street resident reported to police that at some time on the day prior someone had entered her mailbox, and had removed $200 from an envelope within.
March 26, 2014 – At 1:52 p.m., a Lambertville, NJ resident reported to police that a few minutes earlier someone had entered his unlocked vehicle and had removed an iPad valued at $700 while the car was parked in a West Bridge Street parking lot. The iPad was later recovered by Lambertville police, and was returned to its owner.
March 28, 2014 – At 1:55 a.m., police cited George Marchino Jr., 35, of Philadelphia for Disorderly Conduct and Harassment following a disturbance at a residence on Runnemede Court.
April 10, 2014 – At 12:36 p.m., the owner of a North Main Street establishment reported to police that at some time during the overnight hours someone had attempted to enter her store by prying at the front door.
April 13, 2014 – At 6:17 p.m., police cited Fausto Naranjo, 43, of Newark, New Jersey, for Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness, after he created a disturbance at a West Bridge Street establishment.
Lambertville City Police Department
Case #14002546:
Mary McGloughlin, 41, of Lambertville, was arrested on an outstanding warrant as a result of a motor vehicle stop on May 6.
Ptl. Michael Gramlich stopped McGloughlin on Route 29, in the area of Route 202 at 8:04 a.m. after she was allegedly speeding through a school zone. A check revealed an outstandingwarrant issued for McGloughlin for failure to appear on traffic charges in Hillsborough, NJ. McGloughlin posted $89 bail and was released.
Case #14002593:
Michael Murray, 56, of Media, PA was arrested on an active warrant subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on May 8.
Ptl. Matthew Bast stopped Murray on Mount Hope Street for failure to signal a turn. Murray was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest for failure to appear on traffic charges on in Middle Township. Murray posted $81 and was released.
Case #14002622:
Richard Ardin, 66, of Delaware Township was charged with Disorderly Conduct as a result of a road rage incident on Friday, May 9.
Ptl. Anthony Memolo was called to the area of South Union and Bridge streets for a report of Ardin having an altercation with another motorist who was still in his vehicle. Witnesses reported that Ardin was punching the victim’s vehicle and yelling at the other driver who was finally able to pull away. Reportedly the victim had cut off Ardin in Hopewell near Washington’s Crossing which caused Ardin to become irate.
Ardin was charged with Disorderly Conduct as a result of the incident.
