Caleb’s American Kitchen in Lahaska is kicking off its “Friend of a Farmer” dinners that will be hosted two days per month through October.
Owners Caleb Lentchner and Carol Ann Della Penna say they will be relying on local farms within Bucks, Hunterdon and Mercer counties to offer the finest in seasonal produce and livestock on one Thursday evening ($40) and Friday ($45) every month.
Lentchner, who opened Caleb’s American Kitchen in October, 2013 said, “Friend of a Farmer dinners are a seasonal opportunity for me and my staff to showcase the many local farms and farmers who year after year cultivate the finest in local produce, beef and poultry.”
Added Della Penna, “The majority of our patrons are real foodies. They value our commitment to using local farms whenever possible and this is our way of further supporting our farmer friends.”
