Nina’s Waffles and Sweets will open an additional location at 30 E. State St. in Doylestown, just steps away from the County Theater, management confirmed today.
With a target opening of April, the popular Nina’s should be a welcome addition to this busy commercial block in the capitol of Bucks County.
The County Theater is located at 20 E. State St., and is a nonprofit, community-based movie theater specializing in independent, art, and foreign films. Nina’s winning combination of authentic Belgian waffles and super-premium ice cream should prove popular, if the New Hope version is any guide, and could easily become a post-movie destination for many.
Nina’s founder Louis Zanias had long dreamed of opening a waffle shop, a desire that only increased with the success of his restaurants Karla’s and Zoubi in New Hope. The New Hope store, named for his youngest daughter, Nina, has earned a loyal following.
