Re: New Hope-Solebury School District Comprehensive Plan

“Our school district is continually reviewing and refining our practices to ensure that we help our students achieve excellence. It is important for any organization to develop clear, coherent goals and action steps for the future. The vehicle for school districts to do this formally is the comprehensive planning process.
The comprehensive plan provides guidance and direction for the New Hope-Solebury School District as we focus on continually improving our school district. Required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the comprehensive planning process involves a rigorous analysis of many facets of the school district and the development of action plans to enhance areas of strength and to reform areas of opportunity.
The New Hope-Solebury School District comprehensive plan was developed through the engagement of various district stakeholders. Together, these stakeholders devised a plan to take our district to new levels of excellence that will prove to impact our students and our community at large positively.
The Comprehensive Plan will be approved by the Board of School Directors during the public school board meeting scheduled for Monday, November 18, 2013. Prior to that approval, the plan will be available on our district website (http://www.nhsd.org) from Friday, October 18, 2013 through Thursday, November 14, 2013. Comments and suggestions for the plan are encouraged. Please direct all comments to me at syanni@nhsd.org. Your input is welcomed and encouraged!”
