Selection of updates from the New Hope-Solebury School District:

• -The New Hope-Solebury School District Board of School Directors has rescheduled its regularly scheduled meeting from Wednesday, September 12 to Tuesday, September 18, 2012.  The meeting will commence at 6:30 p.m. in the District Office Conference Room.

• -First meeting of the Ad Hoc Gifted Committee will be on Thursday September 13, 3:00- 4:15 p.m. in the district conference room.
• Solebury Basketball Travel team tryouts start on Sept. 19. Call Solebury Township Parks and Recreation for more imformation: 215-297-5702.

• Attention Garage Salers and New Hope-Solebury Parents and Community Members: Come out on Saturday morning, September 8th, for a phenomenal yard sale to be held in front of New Hope-Solebury High School at
  180 West Bridge Street in New Hope Borough. The yard sale is being brought to you by the New Hope-Solebury High School Girls Field Hockey team whose 20+ families have chipped in to collect the best stuff you’ll find at a yard sale, garage sale, or flea market.

   All proceeds from the yard sale will benefit the team and help to pay for equipment, coaching staff and other field hockey necessities that district funds do not cover. The yard sale starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 12 noon.

   Please pull in and park in the parking lot in front of the high school office and the New Hope-Solebury District Offices facing Bridge Street.

   If interested you can shop first, then go see the New Hope-Solebury High School Girls Field Hockey team in action. • 2013 Solebury youth wrestling registration on now. Register online at www.soleburywrestling.com for the 2012-2013 Solebury Youth Wrestling Program.  Open to wrestlers in Grades K-8.   Save $10 by registering before November 1st.  Additional discounts available for siblings. A pre-season informational parent meeting is scheduled for Thursday November 1st @ 7PM at the Solebury School Gym located at 6832 Phillips Mill Road Solebury PA 18938. First practice is Tuesday November 6th at The Solebury School John D. Brown Athletic Center.Registration will be confirmed by e-mail.
