In one word: expansion. Construction is in full swing as New Hope’s volunteer Eagle Fire Company adds three bays and more event space, along with room for a vintage engine and pumps courtesy of the Delaware Valley Fire Museum. Completion was originally scheduled for the end of November at Sugan Road. Meanwhile, a miniature tent city has spring up in the field to the east with temporary bays and support structures. Firefighters of New Hope’s Eagle Fire Company will certainly be glad to have their firehouse back with its expanded space for more activity…and tradition.
