Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) has announced that its 2012 holiday production will be “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” by Joe Landry. The show will run from Dec. 13-30.
Directed by Gordon Greenberg and choreographed by Lorin Latarro, the play is inspired by the classic American film, “It’s a Wonderful Life“. The BCP version will be staged as a 1940s live radio broadcast aired before a studio audience.
“We hope that celebrating the holiday season at the Playhouse will become a lasting family tradition for all those visiting New Hope and the surrounding area,” said Producing Director Jed Bernstein.
Separately, the Playhouse marquee-style sign adjacent to the South Main Street sidewalk is undergoing an impressive overhaul.
