This year’s New Hope Auto Show puts spotlight on Chevrolet

The New Hope-Solebury Community Association will be hosting the 55th Annual New Hope Automobile Show at the New Hope-Solebury High School on Saturday, Aug. 11 and Sunday, Aug. 12. The spotlight this year is on the Chevrolet marque, which produced hundreds of models of cars of trucks during its 100-year history, many of which went on to become American automotive icons.

The  show grounds are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and tickets are sold at the gate. General admission is $5; seniors $3; Active Duty Regular Military, Active Duty National Guard, and Active Duty Reserve personnel and their dependents (must show ID) free; and Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. The New Hope Automobile Show features the finest in classic and antique vehicles, and awards first, second and third place recognition in more than 50 categories. At the end of each day, a parade of champions takes place with all of the winners of each category.

This year’s show continues the tradition of providing educational scholarships for students at New Hope-Solebury High School and several civic groups in the region, including local sports clubs and fire/EMS organizations.
