Beginning at 5:45pm Reception with Lauren Rosenthal McManus and an art display of her paper cut-outs of the Delaware River Basin.
6:15pm A Watershed Moment: The Delaware River Basin
Short film on environmental challenges close to home, followed by a discussion on what we can do locally to protect our Delaware River Basin area.
6:30 pm Panel discussion: Lambertville Environmental Commission
7:00 pm Plan C for Civilization A work in progress documentary on geo-engineering. Produced by Ben Kalina, Philadelphia. As the nations of Earth struggle to control climate change, a small group of scientists and engineers are developing a range of technologies to pull earth back from the brink. Plan C For Civilization journeys deep into the sci-fi world of geoengineering to discover if their ideas – mad as they seem – may be our last, best hope to avoid runaway global warming.
