Raising Honeybees at Bucks County Audubon Society

Join Bucks County Audubon Society to learn all about the benefits and how-to’s of raising honeybees from local

beekeeper, Chuck Pressler! This event will take place on Saturday, March 18 th , from 2-3:30pm.

Without honeybees our lives would be very different. Honey bees are responsible for a majority of agricultural and

horticultural crop pollination! We would be without foods such as corn, cherries, peaches, cucumbers, and even coffee!

Starting your own hive can help combat the decline in this valuable population and this presentation will cover all the

things you’ll need to know to start your own hive and help keep fruits, veggies, and coffee around!
