Kehilat HaNahar will hold an evening of Israeli dance instruction on April 26 from 7 to 9 p.m. The event is free and open to the community.

No prior Israeli dance is required, and a partner is not needed. Participants are, however, encouraged to wear comfortable shoes.

The instruction will be led by veteran Israeli dance instructor Darcy Grabenstein. She will teach basic Israeli dance steps, circle and line dances, and a variety of dances both traditional and contemporary.

Funding for the event is being provided by 2014-2015 grant from the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s Israeli Cultural Fund, directed by the Center for Israel and Overseas. The grant is earmarked for Israeli Culture: Music and Movement.

The synagogue is located at 85 W. Mechanic St. in New Hope. For more information, contact Kehilat HaNahar at 215-701-1085 or littleshul@kehithanahar.org.
