Social media was abuzz with rumors this week suggesting that pop superstar Taylor Swift was moving to Bucks County, but sources close to the matter have confirmed that the speculation is unfounded.

The frenzy began after a large property transaction was recorded in Plumstead Township and involved a 12,791-square-foot residence set on nearly 100 acres.

Public records reviewed by NewHopeFreePress.com show that the property changed hands in early August and listed the buyer as Good Pointe LLC.

Real estate transfer documents listed the purchase price at a nominal $1 for the parcels off Point Pleasant Pike.

The closing was managed by Delaware River Closing Services, based in Solebury Township.

The sale of the property sparked widespread speculation about the new owner’s identity.

Nicole Kidman and Taylor Swift were rumored to be the new owners, but those whispers appear to be untrue.

By Wednesday, local news outlets, including the Bucks County Courier Times, updated their articles to state that Swift, a Pennsylvania native, had not purchased the property. The newspaper cited sources close to Swift.

Instead, the deeds indicate that the parcels were acquired by Good Pointe LLC, a company recently registered in Delaware. The transactions were filed with the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds in early August.

The registered phone number for Good Pointe LLC traces back to a Nashville area code.

Slate journalist Katie Krzaczek shared documents on social media that showed there were plans to preserve parts of the property for agricultural use. Her documents indicate that the property owner isn’t Swift.

Swift is originally from West Reading, where she lived on a Christmas tree farm. She moved to Nashville’s suburbs during her teens to pursue her music career.

The pop star is friends with supermodel Gigi Hadid. Hadid’s mother owns a horse farm in Solebury Township. Hadid’s partner, Bradley Cooper, bought a property in Solebury Township through an LLC.

According to various media reports, Swift owns properties in California, Rhode Island, New York City, and Tennessee.
