Passing of Alice C. Cifelli, 64, of Lambertville and New Hope

Alice C. Cifelli, 64, died Thursday, March 23, at her home.

Raised in Ringoes, N.J., Alice had lived in Lambertville most of her adult life and in the New Hope area for the last nine years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, worked at numerous area restaurants over the years, and recently was the bookkeeper for her husband’s home improvement business. Alice attended Syracuse University and Centenary University in Hackettstown, N.J., majoring in art.

Wife of the late Jimmy Lelie, Alice is survived by her mother Tess Rafalowski, her husband of 14 years James A. Cifelli, her son James Lelie, her daughter Brittany Waldrop and her husband Jeremy, one sister, Linda Acorn and her husband Donald, stepson Thomas Cifelli, mother-in-law Joyce Cifelli, and former husband Michael Haldeman.

Private services will be held at one of Alice’s favorite places in Cape Cod, Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bucks County SPCA, at 1665 Street Road in New Hope, P.A., 18938.
