Lambertville Mayor David DelVecchio and JoAnne Daley tie the knot in Solebury

dsc04279David DelVecchio, Mayor of Lambertville, and JoAnne Daley, originally of Hatfield, were married Sunday at the Rodeway Inn and Suites in Solebury.

A crowd of about 100 guests cheered from their poolside setting as the couple were married by New Hope Mayor Laurence D. Keller on a balcony above.

Keller and DelVecchio are popular mayors in their respective communities, with the duo having served a combined total of nearly 50 years.

The typically gregarious and confident DelVecchio was subdued and clearly moved during the wedding ceremony. Daley returned his gaze with support and clear adoration, and the two may have well been teenagers in those moving moments as rings and vows were exchanged.

Seconds later DelVecchio and Daley were embraced in a deep kiss, drawing a roar of approval from the crowd below.

Congratulations to the newlyweds, and mazel tov!
