New Hope Arts expands outdoor sculpture exhibition with funding from PNC

pntext printNew Hope Arts is expanding its popular outdoor sculpture exhibition through a grant from the PNC Arts Alive initiative, which is funded by PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

The PNC Arts Alive Outdoor Sculpture Project is a walkable, family-friendly public art display that was first held in 2003, and this year’s exhibition is just underway.

New Hope Arts Executive Director Carol Cruickshanks said of PNC’s assistance, “We now have the resources and opportunity to restore the outdoor sculpture vision created by our founder, Robin Larsen, over 12 years ago.”

Currently, the Sculpture Project consists of eight pieces in locations around New Hope. Under the the PNC Arts Alive umbrella, the program recently expanded with the installation of two new art works.  Additional works will be added through summer and fall of 2015, and spring 2016.

The goal of PNC Arts Alive is to help area residents gain access to the arts, and to help arts organizations expand and engage audiences.
