Lambertville Police blotter: vehicle stops yield DUIs, skunky marijuana bags

CASE #14008042:

Meredith L. Bull, 30 of Seattle, Washington was arrested for DUI on Dec. 24.

Lt. Brown stopped Bull in the area of County Route 518 and Old Route 518 at 12:54 a.m. after observing a headlight out on Bull’s vehicle. Subsequent to investigation, Bull was found to be under the influence of alcohol, and was placed under arrest. Bull was charged with DUI, Refusal, Careless Driving, and Failure to Maintain Lamps. Bull was later released with a pending court date.

CASE #14008259:

Matthew P. O’Donnell, 55 of Lambertville was arrested for DUI on December 31.

Ptl. Bast stopped O’Donnell in the area of South Franklin Street at 11:44 p.m. after Bast observed O’Donnell passing several vehicles with his high beams illuminated. Subsequent to investigation, O’Donnell was found to be under the influence of alcohol and placed under arrest. O’Donnell was charged with DUI, Improper use of high beams and Reckless Driving. O’Donnell was later released with a pending court date.

Case #15000009

Maxwell Crawford Skolnick, 25 of Pennsylvania was arrested for possession of CDS on Jan. 1.

Ptl. Bast stopped Skolnick in the area of State Highway 29 and Fireman’s Island  at 2:45 a.m. for speeding. During the motor vehicle stop, Ptl. Bast smelled the odor of raw, unburned marijuana emitting from the interior of the vehicle. Subsequent to investigation, Skolnick was found to be in possession of two plastic sandwich baggies containing marijuana. Skolnick was placed under arrest and charged with speeding and possession of marijuana. Skolnick was later released with a pending court date.

Case #15000046:

Timothy S. Yarborough, 37 of Pennsylvania was arrested for DUI on Jan. 3.

Ptl. Gramlich stopped Yarborough in the area of State Highway 29, at 12:09AM, after observing Yarborough driving erratically. Subsequent to investigation, Yarborough was found to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested. Yarborough was charged with DUI, Careless Driving, Failure to exhibit registration and Driving while suspended. Yarborough was later released with a pending court date.

Case #15000061:

Gerardo Serrano-Gonzaga, 18 of Lambertville was arrested for CDS on Jan. 3.

Lt. Brown stopped Gonzaga in the area of Bridge Street and Gordon’s Alley, at 8:59 p.m., after observing Gonzaga driving without his headlights illuminated. When Lt. Brown approached the vehicle, he detected the strong odor of raw, unburned marijuana emitting from the interior of the vehicle. Subsequent to investigation, Gonzaga was found to be in possession of a plastic bag containing marijuana. Gonzaga was placed under arrested and charged with Possession of CDS, CDS in a motor vehicle, and Lamps Required. Gonzaga was later released with a pending court date.
