The New Hope-Solebury Lions football team has bounced back from their homecoming loss to Delaware County Christian School, picking up two straight wins.

The Lion’s 6-0 win against Jenkintown Oct. 25 put them in a position to earn a playoff berth by beating Lower Moreland the following Friday, in a 27-14 thumping of the Huntingdon Valley team. That Oct. 31 game saw New Hope-Solebury’s solid offense scoring four touchdowns.

New Hope-Solebury, now 4-5, will battle the 4-6 Springfield-Montco Spartans in the district semi-finals Saturday night, Nov. 8,  at 7 p.m. in Oreland. A fan bus is available; completed permission slips should be dropped off at the High School by Friday.
