New Hope Police Department

September 6, 2014 –  At 2:21 a.m., police arrested Charles Davis, 30, of Lambertville, New Jersey, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, after he was observed operating his vehicle in an unlawful manner on West Bridge Street.

September 9, 2014 –  At 1:47 p.m., the owners of three South Main Street businesses reported to police that approximately three weeks prior an individual using a stolen credit card number had purchased in excess of $750 worth of merchandise from their respective stores. Police have identified a suspect, and are continuing their investigation.

September 14, 2014 –  At 12:15 a.m., police cited Ronald Laub, Jr., 19, of Southampton, for Underage Drinking and Public Drunkenness, after he was found to be in an intoxicated state on South Main Street.

September 29, 2014 –  At 3:45 p.m., a New Hope resident reported to police that her wallet had been removed from her vehicle the previous evening while the vehicle was parked in a New Street parking lot.

September 30, 2014 –  At 7:31 a.m., an AT&T representative reported to police that the day prior he had discovered four copper wires, each approximately 14 feet in length, missing from a West Bridge Street site. The complainant was unable to provide a time frame for the theft.

October 5, 2014 –  At 2:39 a.m., Police cited Kyle Gordon, 26, of New Hope, for Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness, after he created a disturbance on Chestnut Street.

City of Lambertville Police Department

Case #14005945:

Camille M. Smith, 50, of Furlong, PA, manager of City Market, arrived at police headquarters to file a criminal mischief report on Sept. 22. Smith reported that sometime within the past two days someone spray-painted the word “WORST” in green along the side of the building. Ptl. Bast investigated.

Case #14006035:

Alison D. Slickers, 29, of Doylestown was arrested on Sept. 26. Slickers arrived at police headquarters to turn herself in on an active warrant issued from Edison Township Municipal Court for failure to appear in the amount of $500. Ptl. Gramlich placed Slickers under arrest and processed for the warrant. Slickers was later released.

Case #14006131:

Matthew J. Jones, 52, of Lambertville was issued a special complaint on Oct. 1.

Lt. Brown responded to a call for illegal dumping in the area of 96 North Franklin Street. Subsequent to investigation, Jones was found to have dumped brush and tree limbs into the creek behind 96 North Franklin Street. Lt. Brown issued a special complaint to Jones for violation of city ordinance 4-1.2, litter in a public place.

Case #14006166:

Alina Ciubotaru, 18, of Philadelphia, was charged with possession of marijuana on October 2.

While conducting security checks in the Lambertville Municipal Court, SPO. Bender found Ciubotaru was in possession of marijuana located inside her purse. Ciubotaru was later arrested and charged with possession of CDS. She was subsequently released with a pending court date.
