Bob Egan and Dick Clark have two things in common: handsome, dark looks and the apparent ability to defy age (although Dick eventually lost that battle).

During his three-decade career, the Bucks County-based musician has helped pioneer cabaret in New Hope, and has performed at virtually all major area venues. His entertainment agency places performers at public events and private parties throughout the region.
Now, Bob Egan has returned the to the stage at the Rrazz Room, hosting a series of variety shows.
The Aug. 21 event — Bob Egan & Friends – is “a variety show you don’t want to miss,” according to Rrazz Room promoters.

Featured “friends” include Barbara Gurskey, Stephen Belfatti, Jack Cosgrove, Michael Traupman, Bruce McFarland & Dana Coughlin, Kristen Smith, Christopher Ranque, Brielle Appleton, and Linda Walsh.

Egan remains the king of cabaret, and a class act on and off the stage. His next show starts at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21 at the Rrazz Room, 6426 Lower York Road; (888) 596-1027.
