Christmas Past owner Peter Madden at his new location
Long-time South Main Street retail stop Christmas Past is following in the path of Bag Ladies and moving to West Bridge Street in another hopeful sign of that block’s revival following the distress caused by the recession and repair of the canal bridge some years ago.
Owner Peter Madden is excited about a new location after more than 20 years in business, and says he’s hoping to open in May. The new store is located at 16 W. Bridge St. next to Sherri Daugherty’s Angel Hearts, an upscale women’s boutique.
As might be expected, the store will be jam-packed with Christmas-themed merchandise, with ornaments being a reputed specialty. Christmas Past can be reached at (215) 862-0501.
