Sidetracks Art Gallery in New Hope will present the work Yvonne Love beginning with a March 1 reception and running through the remainder of the month.
Love’s abstract works are typically rendered in mixed media on unconventional surfaces, using for example watercolor, acrylic and paste on burnt paper or clay board. Her pieces have appeared previously at Sidetracks, and at galleries in Lambertville, Philadelphia, New York and beyond. Love received her Master of Fine Arts in 1994 from University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Her show kicks off with an opening reception on March 1 from 5-8 p.m. at the A Space, a gallery adjacent to Sidetracks at 37 W. Bridge St.
