New Hope Police blotter: three burglaries in Riverwoods

cop stopThe New Hope Police Department today reported that three residential burglaries took place on July 22 and 27 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11:58 p.m. in the Riverwoods development — one in the 200 block of Riverwoods Drive and two in the 100 block of Lakeview Drive. Anyone noticing anything or anyone suspicious is asked to contact Corporal Zimmerman at 215-862-3033.

In other late June and early July police action (names removed):

June 18, 2013 –  A New Hope woman reported to police that someone had used her credit card number to make in excess of $1,000 in unauthorized purchases. The victim advised police that she was in possession of the card, but that she had used the card number on an internet site.

June 21, 2013 –  At 2:08 a.m. Police cited a man, 21, of Ivyland, Pennsylvania, for Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct, after he damaged a freshly planted tree on South Main Street.

June 23, 2013 –  At 1:32 a.m. Police cited a man, 19, of Belle Mead, New Jersey, for Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkenness, Underage Drinking, Misrepresentation of Age to Secure Alcohol, and Carrying False Identification, after he created a disturbance after leaving a South Main Street bar.

June 28, 2013 – At 2:37 a.m. Police cited a man, 24, and another man, 23, both of Yardley, Pennsylvania, for Public Drunkenness, after the two were found to be in an intoxicated state on South Main Street.

June 28, 2013 –  The owner of a North Main Street business reported to police that at some time over the prior several weeks, items with a value of approximately $500 had been removed from outside the store.

July 3, 2013 –  At 1:45 p.m. the owner of a West Bridge Street establishment reported to police that at some time during the overnight hours someone had entered the business and removed cash from the register.
